The Archaeology MPhil/PhD programme from The University of Exeter staff and research students work in Britain, mainland Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America, and in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework the Department was ranked 4th in the UK for world-leading and internationally excellent research.
