Professional opportunities

Training as a professional researcher and doctor in Educational Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona may be demanded or considered as an added value for accessing professional areas such as:

Teaching and research in universities.
Psychoeducational assessment in formal, non-university education.
Psychoeducational assessment in non-formal education.
Analysis and evaluation of educational projects, programmes and initiatives.
Selection and training of teachers at all educational levels.

Programme Structure

Objectives:

Provide a quality PhD programme based on epistemological, conceptual and methodological principles, directed at knowledge and research in educational processes in different contexts and scenarios.
Offer students a broad range of research lines, with the backing and involvement of recognised research groups in Catalonia, which they can join to carry out their own PhD thesis project, under the guarantee of specialised and rigorous guidance and supervision.
Share intellectual and material resources of the participating research groups with the aim of offering students a greater and richer range of training options in educational psychology.
Promote the development and dissemination of the lines of work within the research groups participating in the programme through continued collaboration and exchange.
