Overview
This ''An Exploration Of The Newly Qualified Nurse'' programme is offered at the Robert Gordon University. The number of nurse prescribers is steadily increasing to meet health care service needs. Nevertheless, many nurses perceive prescribing decisions to be complex, and consider learning to prescribe to be one of the most personally challenging areas of development.
Features
- There is now a requirement for pre-registration nursing and midwifery programmes to prepare students to have the ability to progress to a prescribing qualification on registration.
- Given the complexity of prescribing this is likely to come with challenges worthy of investigation.
Programme Structure
Research
- We welcome specific ideas from applicants for a potential research degree topic.
