About the school

Our thriving community of academic staff, postdoctoral research fellows and postgraduate students in the School of Languages and Cultures at the University of Sheffield conducts research in a wide range of languages, disciplines and geographical regions, united by a commitment to accessing sources in the language, and to the study of language-based cultures.
