About the programme
The School of Mathematics and Statistics at The Open University UK has an active research programme covering a wide range of topics in the mathematical sciences, with weekly seminars, and several workshops and conferences throughout the year. It is home to a number of research fellows, visiting researchers and full- and part-time research students in Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.
The School of Mathematics and Statistics provides a friendly and flexible working environment, where diversity is celebrated and welcomed. The School is active in challenging injustice and promoting equitable treatment for those from marginalised or under-represented groups and holds an Athena Swan Silver award for its work in promoting gender equality.
