About the programme
We use a variety of mathematical and computational techniques, including developing our own numerical software. Our work on Theoretical Condensed Matter and Biophysics at The Open University UK sits in three broad themes:
- Many-body quantum systems and collective behaviour
- Quantum simulation and ultracold atoms
- Biophysics and the statistical mechanics of life
