Overview
Key Features
Biology is a science in the midst of a revolution, driven by numerous conceptual and technological advances over the last twenty years (omics, genome editing, stem cells, etc.). The societal impact of these discoveries is immense, from medicine (personalized medicine, regenerative medicine) to the multiscale understanding of ecosystems
An essential feature of modern biology is the application of new technologies that draw heavily on the engineering sciences. As a result, biology is increasingly a "quantitative" science that relies heavily on interdisciplinarity. The stakes for health, food and the environment are high.
In addition to the academic excellence of the host laboratories, PhD students of Biology program from Institut Polytechnique de Paris benefit from state-of-the-art infrastructures and platforms to support their work.

- Once a few compulsory documents have been collected (thesis project, CV, M2 grades, letter of support from the thesis supervisor), one must obtain the agreements from the director of the laboratory and the director of the doctoral school. Then the application can be deposited on ADUM.
