About the program
A graduate of the Metrology program offered at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava can:
- apply theoretical knowledge for solutions of particular research and development problems in the field of metrology, metrological knowledge in solving interdisciplinary problems;
- innovate existing methods and procedures for designing measurements and processing of measured data, existing physical principles, design solutions, conditions and methods of application of measuring instruments and measuring systems, theoretical knowledge in selected segments of metrology, employing results of the experimental activity;
- develop and improve methods, procedures and technical solutions for the assurance of metrological traceability, theoretical tools for designing and evaluating measurements, theoretical and practical procedures, methods and technical means for solving interdisciplinary problems
Careers
The doctoral study program Metrology is aimed to prepare highly qualified graduates who have the prerequisites to fill professional positions in research and development institutions, in organizations of providers of metrological services, institutions belonging to the quality infrastructure. This potential is confirmed with a good employability of students, who graduated the study program Metrology in Slovak. However, since the accreditation of the study program Metrology, delivered in English in a full-time form, no students graduated from it.
