The graduate of this Mechatronic Systems program from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava
• has deep systematic theoretical and methodological knowledge as well as practical experience in key areas of mechatronics, with a focus on research and development of modern mechatronic systems;
- has a deep knowledge of specific areas of mechatronics according to the professional focus of the studied topic corresponding to the current state of knowledge in the field, and is able to integrate and explain them;
- is a highly qualified specialist for the main research areas (by topic): automatic control and automation, applied mechanics and mechatronics, modelling and numerical simulation of cyber-physical systems, applied electronics, microcomputers, sensors and actuators, virtual and mixed reality, intelligent technologies for Industry 4.0, information and communication technologies for intelligent products, IoT, IIoT
- masters the principles of independent and team scientific work, scientific research, scientific problem formulation, solving complex scientific problems.

Graduates will find professional employment in various sectors of science, research, industry and services in the public and private sectors, especially in the automotive industry in the field of electromobility and its infrastructure, in intelligent manufacturing in the concept of Industry 4.0, in digital manufacturing in the field of automation, IoT and IIoT, and in development workplaces dealing with the development and implementation of complex mechatronic systems.
