Overview

The Theory of Architectural and Indoor Engineering programme from The Technical University of Kosice (TUKE) has an emphasis placed on the graduate acquiring the ability to clearly formulate a scientific problem, the subject and the goal of research and development in the field of structural design of buildings and the creation of building environments and to solve the formulated problem with an awareness of the social, ethical, legal and economic contexts of scientific work. Part of his knowledge is also scientific experiment - computational, laboratory and in situ experiment and methods of its evaluation.

Learning outcomes

Graduate of study programme III. degree:

demonstrates acquired in-depth theoretical knowledge from natural science disciplines aimed at scientific preparation,

acquires the skills and methods of scientific research and the ability to conceive and implement their own theoretically and experimentally justified original solutions to technical problems in the architecture of buildings,

demonstrates systemic knowledge in the field of a scientific problem, is capable of critical analysis, evaluation and synthesis of new concepts and introduces the material outputs of his research into construction-architectural and project practice,

scientifically contributes original research in the field of design, assessment, diagnosis and restoration of buildings, creation, prediction and assessment of the environment of buildings and in the field of design and assessment of environmental technology systems.
