Biochemistry PhD in Slovakia

Slovakia is a relatively small, land-locked country in Central Europe with a predominantely mountainous landscape. Slovakia is one of the few former communist countries to be simultaneously part of the European Union, Eurozone, NATO and the Schengen Area.

Biochemistry degrees teach students about the chemical processes that take place inside living organisms. Biochemistry is usually split into three branches of Science: Molecular Genetics, Protein Science, and Metabolism.
