The Campus Health Center (CHC) is an academic, nurse-managed full-service primary care clinic that serves all currently enrolled Wayne State University (WSU) students. We provide a wide range of primary healthcare services with the objective of keeping WSU students healthy and ready to learn. Each currently enrolled WSU student is eligible for one free illness visit per semester enrolled.

Sit in the stands to watch Wayne State athletes at work and you’ll quickly see why we’re called the Warriors. WSU sponsors 18 NCAA Division II teams that compete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Men’s and women’s fencing compete in the Midwest Fencing Conference and for a National Collegiate Championship against such schools as Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Penn State.
