History
As the first modern university established and one of the two national universities in Vietnam, VNU has undergone various stages of development: the University of Indochina established on 16 May, 1906; Vietnam National University, the University of Hanoi. In December 1993, VNU was reorganized on the basis of amalgamating the University of Hanoi and some other leading universities in Hanoi.
Education
VNU is the largest comprehensive higher education and research center in Vietnam. VNU is entrusted with the task of producing highly qualified human resources and talents for the industrialization and modernization of the country. VNU holds a special position in Vietnam’s higher education system, operating according to a special regulation promulgated by the Prime Minister.

Studying at Vietnam National University
The program at Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-H) was amazing. The professors were always helpful. The overall education quality was great. However, I think that the facilities should be improved. For example, there should be more elevators in buildings.
I love the school
My experience at Vietnam National University has been positive. The lecturers are supportive, and the courses in International Business are practical and insightful.
Not one thought of regrets
Being one of the best university for English teacher education in Vietnam with, Vietnam National University Hanoi has prepared me well for both practical and academic journeys. Moreover, the university gave me chances to take part in international events. So I have no regrets studying here.
