The University of Alabama at Birmingham's residence halls are unique in the fact that they aren't really dorms, but suites and apartments where students live. We are one of the few schools in the southeast to offer these types of accommodations.

The recently renovated Student Health Services and Counseling and Wellness Center includes 23,000 square feet of space dedicated to the health, counseling and wellness needs of UAB students. The facility is equipped to meet all your primary health care needs including: appointments with healthcare providers, routine diagnostic lab testing and X-ray services.
