We offer three undergraduate degree courses, accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, designed with clinical outcomes in mind and based upon excellence in teaching, and informed by scientific research. We believe that our courses, which integrate clinical medicine and surgery with pathology and basic sciences, ensure that Nottingham graduates gain the best possible foundation on which to build any future career in the veterinary profession.

Our research focusses around four Strategic Research Areas, much of which is done in collaboration with the School of Biosciences. In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF) our joint submission is ranked 2nd in the UK for research power, with 80% of our research regarded to be 'internationally excellent' or 'world-leading' (3* or 4*).
