The Health & Wellness Center (HWC) cares for the medical and psychosocial needs of the entire university community. It is dedicated to creating and sustaining wellbeing in the community through its awareness programs, medical services, nursing care, psychological counseling, and other psychosocial interventions.

Campus life

AUW Campus Center, designed by our Master Planner, Moshe Safdie and Associates, will be a microcosm of the whole campus, offering state-of-the- art classrooms, labs, tiered lecture halls, cafeteria, faculty offices, student lounges, library, computing centers, and so on, surrounded by the serenity of the unusual greenery and quiet of our campus area. AUW started the Campus Center construction in 2022.

Sports facilities

At AUW, physical and mental health is seen as a way for students to foster a sense of respect and confidence in oneself and humanity, feel strong and empowered, and build community.

Overall it was great

My study experience has been both enriching and transformative. I particularly valued the diverse learning environment, where I was able to engage with peers from different cultural and academic backgrounds. This diversity encouraged meaningful discussions, broadened my perspectives, and helped me think more critically about education and social issues. I also appreciated the emphasis on participatory learning, reflective practice, and the opportunity to connect theory with real-world contexts. What I liked most was the supportive academic community and the flexibility to explore topics aligned with my interests. The coursework and discussions strengthened my analytical skills, communication abilities, and confidence as a learner and educator. Exposure to different pedagogical approaches and critical frameworks made the learning experience intellectually stimulating and personally rewarding. However, there are areas that could be improved. At times, the workload was intense within short timeframes, which made it challenging to engage deeply with all materials. More structured academic guidance, clearer expectations for assignments, and additional practical or field-based components could further enhance the learning experience. Overall, I would summarize my study experience as highly positive, challenging, and impactful. It has deepened my understanding of education, strengthened my professional skills, and inspired me to continue learning and contributing meaningfully to the field.

A Transformative Educational Experience

It was great opportunity to study in an interventional university where the students come from different countries to build one community in here. Everyone has their own challenges and experiences, and these experiences make me stronger and motivated to keep moving forward.
