About
Research
The majority of staff in the School belong to at least one of three formally-constituted research centres:
- Much of our social psychology research is coordinated through the Centre for the Study of Group Processes (CSGP).
- Staff whose research interests lie primarily in cognition coordinate much of their research through the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience and Cognitive Systems (CCNCS), actively collaborating with members of the School of Computing's Computational Intelligence Group.
- Forensic Psychology research at Kent operates through the Centre of Research and Education in Forensic Psychology (CORE-FP).

Employment statistics:
- 12,000 people graduate with a Psychology degree each year in the UK and have great employment prospects.
- Six months after graduating from Kent, 90% of our 2011 Psychology graduates were either working or in further study, 71% of them in professional or managerial jobs(Unistats).

Accreditation
All of undergraduate programmes are accredited by the BPS. This includes the joint honours degrees.
The MSc in Forensic Psychology course is accredited by the BPS as providing the first (academic) year of professional training for those who wish to qualify as Chartered Forensic Psychologists
