University is about more than just attending lectures – with 1.600 students from Austria and abroad at any one time, Orientation Weeks, a dedicated International Office and a Buddy network for incoming and international students, as well as a close-knit student community our alumni remember with great fondness, life in Hagenberg is not as sleepy as our idyllic setting might suggest.

This section will help to give you an understanding of how our students live their day-to-day lives on campus, from accommodation, catering and library facilities to the social calendar, sports activities and everything going on in the local area.

Especially those interested in sports will find a variety of suitable facilities in Hagenberg. You can register at the FH OÖ Sports Team which offers a range of sports activities such as: Zumba, Nei Gong, Breakdance, Kickboxing, Krav Maga, dancing classes, soccer, climbing, capoeira, flag football, tennis, ultimate frisbee and open ball games. The courses offered vary from term to term.
