Cyprus University of Technology - International Institute for Environmental and Public Health

Each year since 2005, the Institute has offered continuing education programs, lecture series and seminars for academics and for the public. The Institute is led by Professor John Evans. Its activities are overseen by the six-member CII Steering Committee. The scientific integrity of its programs of education and research is evaluated by the CII Science Advisory Board.

The Institute offers two postgraduate MSc programs -- one in Environmental Health and another in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Both are taught in English. Recently the Institute has begun to offer research training leading to the PhD in environmental and public health.

Through its association with the Harvard School of Public Health the Institute has been able to establish three Masters of Science programs and a PhD. It has been able to attract leading academics to come to Cyprus to teach in these programs
