Description
Queen Mary has an agreement with ANID Becas Chile (formerly known as CONICYT), which allows us to offer funding for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhDs).This co-funded scholarship is available across all of our full-time Masters and PhD programmes.

Benefits
Their agreement means that Queen Mary is able to offer a 20% tuition fee discount to scholars, with ANID contributing towards the remaining fee. ANID will also provide scholars with a stipend, return airfare, one-off relocation/settlement allowance, as well as a health insurance contribution.
Eligibility
- Students must meet the standards required by ANID, as well as all entry requirements for admissions to their chosen Queen Mary programme in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants must first apply to Queen Mary for admission to their chosen course, and receive an offer letter, before submitting a scholarship application to ANID. Offer letters can only be conditional on English Language requirements.

Upon applying to Queen Mary, applicants should state that they are applying for ANID Becas Chile funding.
It can take 6-8 weeks for PhD applications to be processed. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply as early as possible.
