The primary goal of the Counseling Psychology program from Louisiana Tech University is to produce professional psychologists who are competent in both research and professional practice.

Key Features

The Counseling Psychology program trains students as Health Service Psychologists qualified to work in a variety of professional settings including university counseling centers, Veterans Administration (VA) treatment facilities, community health agencies, private practice, and academia.
Faculty and students provide rural mental health services to the community via our department-run Psychological Services Clinic and complete subsequent practica in diverse settings with diverse populations.
