In the Nursing - Executive Health Systems Leadership program from The University of Arizona, you will develop advanced competencies necessary to thrive in senior leadership roles, including: Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO), Clinical Nursing Director, Director of Nursing Professional Practice, Director of Quality, strategic program developers and other leadership initiatives.

At the University of Arizona, we are pioneering a focus on innovation in executive healthcare leadership. Emphasis is placed on health system assessment, creative planning, and leveraging health system resources to achieve optimal organizational outcomes.

Programme Structure

To complete this program, online students must also fulfill the following in-person requirements alongside on-campus DNP students:

1,000 practicum hours supervised by faculty or preceptors on site
