Overview

The objective of the Pharmaceutical Sciences - Drug Discovery and Development program at University of Arizona   is to impart advanced scientific knowledge in the drug discovery and design phases of pharmaceutical development, and to provide training opportunities in conducting state-of-the-art approaches in basic research in pharmaceutical sciences, and closely related sub-disciplines, in order to prepare the students for careers in independent research or related careers in academia, industry or government.

The College of Pharmacy offers a graduate program leading to a Doctor of Philosophy and/or a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Over twenty faculty participate in the program. 

Faculty research interests are in various areas of:
