Key Facts
Faculty members in our PsyD program in Counseling Psychology from University of the Pacific prepare students for careers that serve a culturally diverse society by providing an educational and practical foundation in counseling, assessment, development, ethical practice, psychopharmacology, addiction, and research, among other advanced topics.
Programme Structure
- Students in the program progress through their course sequence in a cohort and support each other in the classroom and in practice as they become self-reflective practitioners, researchers, and leaders.
- Instruction is offered in a hybrid format such that instruction for clinical coursework is provided in-person while theoretical, lecture-based coursework is provided online, both synchronously and asynchronously.
- In-person coursework is consolidated to one day per week to provide a student-friendly schedule.
