Overview
Occupational injury prevention uses a multi-disciplinary approach, including epidemiologic methods and ergonomics, to assess and prevent workplace injuries.
Education
Students who pursue the Occupational Injury Prevention Research Training program at University of Utah, gain the opportunity to work closely with the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, the Department of Mechanical Engineering in addition to gaining valuable experience in Occupational and Environmental Health.
