Overview
Education
Students from the Biomedical Engineering - Cell and Molecular Engineering program at Northwestern University interested in pursuing research in a particular focus area receive guidance in selecting advanced coursework that is tailored to educate them about a specific concentration of biomedical engineering.
Research in this area harnesses biological components--genes, RNA, enzymes, and lipids--to reveal the engineering principles that underlie function and to build entirely new systems and devices.
