We offer a Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy degree at the University of Florida. Research in the department emphasizes the epidemiological, socio-behavioral, administrative, regulatory, and economic aspects of drug therapy and pharmaceutical services, including assessment of safety, effectiveness, efficiency and quality aspects of patient-oriented pharmaceutical services and medication use.

- The department offers both a research-oriented residential M.S.P. and Ph.D. degree programs as well as an online M.S.P. program.
- For the research oriented degree programs, graduate studies include core curricula and four specializations in patient safety and program evaluation, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacoepidemiology and social-behavioral research in medication use.

- A recognized baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree from a college, university, or higher education institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the New England Commission of Higher Education, the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, or a comparable degree from an international institution.
- For applicants with a bachelor’s degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0), calculated from all grades and credits after the semester where the applicant reached 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours is required. Applicants should refer directly to their intended academic units for Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) requirements.
