General requirements
- Completion of at least 60 credits of full time postsecondary education at a recognized university, or at a college providing university-equivalent courses.
- Preference will be given to applicants that have completed a baccalaureate degree with a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0. Minimum overall GPA is set at 2.8
- Preference will be given to applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in pre-requisite courses
- Quality of writing and knowledge of the veterinary profession as evidenced in the applicant’s personal statement/essays that include a description of relevant work experience.
- Evaluation of three letters of reference
- Contribution to diversity.
- Interview (by invitation only). Based on review of the applications by the College of Veterinary Medicine, the most competitive applicants will be invited to an online video interview.
