Overview
Our Psychology program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is research-intensive and offers many opportunities for you to engage in collaborative and independent research.
You’ll also find numerous teaching opportunities. As a teaching assistant, you’ll gain teaching experience instructing undergraduates while working closely with faculty.
As a lead instructor, you’ll design your own courses and build your teaching portfolio. By taking advantage of teaching skill-development opportunities, psychology graduate students have won university-wide teaching awards.
Careers
Our graduates go on to a wide variety of careers after obtaining their doctorates. Those pursuing careers in academia have entered post-doctoral positions at research universities, or gone directly into faculty positions at research universities and liberal arts colleges across the U.S.
