Overview
About the program
Made possible through a cooperative agreement, PPVM students complete the first two years of veterinary medicine education at the University of Nebraska and transfer to the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine for the final two years of study, all the while paying in-state tuition.
While at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, PPVM students enjoy an enriched learning experience thanks to small class sizes and a low student-to-faculty ratio. Starting with their first semester, PPVM students have many opportunities to interact with animals and participate in other hands-on learning activities both inside and outside of the classroom.
