Overview
Delve into topics such as nonlinear control systems, systems biology, and real-time signal processing in our 12 research labs.
Features
- Then, in the classroom, build on your systems and control engineering foundation by specializing in your chosen subfield—bioinformatics or databases and data mining, for example.
- Our Systems and Control Engineering program at Case Western Reserve University is kept small on purpose so you receive individualized attention without sacrificing the advantages of a larger program—namely, leading-edge equipment and mentorship from renowned faculty researchers.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- Our faculty specialize in connected devices and systems, wearables and wireless health, energy systems, and grid modernization—and you’ll work alongside them to carve out a research niche for yourself.
- You’ll also take courses on topics such as the structure of materials, thermodynamics of solids, and phase transformations, kinetics, and microstructure.
- Our multidisciplinary approach to our curriculum allows you to take electives outside of systems and control engineering to round out your education.
