General requirements
- Applicants to the PhD program are expected to have an MS degree in exercise science or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Students with a BS degree who wish to enter the PhD program should apply to the MS in Exercise Science program. A bypass of the MS degree into the PhD program may be possible based on academic performance and research potential observed during the first academic year.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework.
