- Applicants are required to have taken a minimum of seven courses in the liberal arts, including three in the sociobehavioral sciences, or a combination of liberal arts and social welfare subjects as prerequisite undergraduate preparation for graduate study in the field of social work.
- An elementary statistics course with a grade of B or better and one course with human biology content are also required.
