Overview
About the program
Over seventy graduate students enjoy close interaction with thirty-eight internationally renowned faculty members in the Department who teach and publish on a large number of historical periods, theoretical areas, and methodological approaches.
Many of our English faculty at the University of Pennsylvania work across traditional period and disciplinary divides, and we encourage our students to bring similar innovation and creativity to their own research and teaching.
