Our students at Texas A&M University build a foundational body of knowledge and skills that prepares them to excel in a diverse array of biomedical research careers.

VMBS faculty from each of the five academic departments train BIMS PhD students within the structure of four curricular training tracks, which align with the college’s research emphasis areas.

Outcomes

A PhD in Biomedical Sciences provides an academic and research experience that educates students within the context of cross-disciplinary knowledge and prepares students to excel in a research career in areas as diverse as academia, government, industry, and others.
