Overview
The Civil and Environmental Engineering program at Tufts University is a research oriented pursuit that requires in-depth knowledge of a specific topic of study and involves close collaboration with a faculty mentor. Programs of study are highly individualized, but consist of two main components: course work and independent research.
Career Outcomes
Civil and Environmental engineers use their training to help society anticipate and respond to the emerging challenges of our changing world by focusing on natural and built systems, and by working at the intersection of infrastructure, the environment, and people.
