Features

The Tufts University Physics faculty have international reputations in a broad range of subjects, and collaborations between department members and members of other departments with differing research interests are common.

As a student in the Astrophysics program, you'll collaborate closely with faculty and work with them on research and projects. You may also pursue research in related departments, such as biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and mathematics.

You will carry out independent, original research and hone your ability to communicate scientific ideas and results effectively to peers.
