The Biomedical Engineering graduate program at The University of New Mexico is the only BME program in the State of New Mexico.

The program is inherently interdisciplinary, with faculty from across the School of Engineering, the UNM School of Medicine and the College of Arts & Sciences.

Curriculum:

The faculty and students are talented and diverse, with more than 50% of our students coming from groups that are traditionally under-represented in science and engineering (e.g., women, minorities, veterans, and students with disabilities).
