- Bachelor's or master's degree (psychology degree not required)
- Adequate preparation for graduate study in psychology recommended, including such courses as: introductory psychology, experimental psychology/research methods, and statistics/quantitative methods in psychology
- Applicants without recommended undergraduate psychology courses may apply, provided they have done outstanding work in related areas of study (completion of undergraduate courses after admission may be required)
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 preferred
- Three letters of reference
- Statement of purpose
- Writing sample from psychology course, convention or presentation that is representative of your writing abilities
