Students take courses at Drexel's Thomas R. Kline School of Law and Dornsife School of Public Health and earn degrees from both.

- In addition to acquiring basic skills in the two disciplines, students gain a unique perspective on the interrelation between them.
- Students in the Juris Doctorate - Public Health program from Drexel University take their first year of study at the School of Law, where they complete the standard first-year curriculum.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- They spend the second and third years taking courses at both schools, including the standard core courses at the School of Public Health in the department of Health Management and Policy.
- During those years, or in the summers according to their preference, they take a co-op in a public health law setting and complete a public health project related to it.
- Depending on the pace of coursework they select, students typically finish the two degrees in either three or three-and-a-half years.

- Applicants to the JD/MPH program must first obtain admission to the Kline School of Law. Following an offer of admission to the Kline School of Law, the applicant is then considered for admission to the School of Public Health.
- Students may also apply to the dual degree JD/MPH during the first year of law school on a case by case basis.
