General requirements
- Writing and speaking skills commensurate with graduate-level course requirements. Students observed with deficiencies will be referred to online and other resources for improvement and/or may be required to enroll in courses to develop these competencies.
- Adherence to APA formatting and professional, legal, ethical, and educational standards in academic writing.
- Proficiency in computer applications using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet searches, and library databases. Students lacking these skills will be referred to resources such as tutorials and courses to address the deficiencies.
- Competency in statistics sufficient to understand descriptive and inferential statistics in order to read and interpret empirical studies.
- Applied leadership experience.
- Evidence of global/international experience and/or background.
- Undergraduate and graduate GPAs above a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
