The JGPT offers M.S. and Ph.D. degrees and provides the research training for Pharm.D./Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. students.

- The JGPT was established in 1980 and is administratively housed at the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI) on the Busch Campus of Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ.
