Overview
About the program
Contemporary neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field that studies the nervous system to understand the biological bases of behavior, cognition, subjective experience, psychiatric or neurological disease, and the brain’s computational processes, networks and functions.
The idea of neuroscience as a dedicated and multidisciplinary branch of biology that synergistically combines physiology, anatomy, chemistry, physics, mathematical modeling, engineering, psychology and rehabilitation has resulted in a flourishing field. This Interdisciplinary Neuroscience program is offered at the University of Delaware.
