About the program
The Executive Healthcare Leadership DNP program at the University of South Carolina prepares you to become an advanced practice nurse or for a leadership role. Through online classes and select on-campus immersions, you’ll gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to implement evidence-based practices and system-wide changes to improve patient outcomes.
The Executive Healthcare Leadership concentration is open to both BSN and master’s-prepared applicants. Program graduates are prepared to influence health care environments through professionalism, leadership, strong communication skills and business knowledge.

- 3 Letters of Recommendation (from a doctorally prepared registered nurse or physician)

- Current Unencumbered RN Licensure in State of Practice
- Verification of Work Hours form confirming applicants with an MSN have at least 2000 hours within the past 3 years and applicants with an MBA/MPH/MHA have at least 4000 hours within the past 3 years
