Overview
The Language, Literacy and Technology doctoral program at Washington State University emphasizes the generation, application, and translation of research that will enhance the field of education through the exploration of language, literacy, and technology.

- LLT doctoral program is used: 1) to promote a deeper understanding of the influences of language, literacy, and technology by conducting and supporting high-quality research, 2) to support and promote high-quality instruction in the three areas and integrated contexts in both formal and informal settings, and 3) to understand how human development, culture, policy, knowledge of language, and other issues support and shape language, literacy, and technology practices.
- The course of study for the Doctor of Philosophy in LLT is rigorous, flexible and individually tailored 72 total credit hour degree that includes a minimum of 52 graded credits plus minimum 20 dissertation hours.
