Twenty one faculty members teach and conduct research in the major subfields of the discipline: American, comparative, international relations, public policy and administration, political theory, and political methodology, with sub-specializations in public law, political communication, political psychology, French and European politics, American foreign policy, gender and politics, environmental policy, and qualitative methodology.

General requirements

Have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from regionally accredited institution. Typically, students should have completed a minimum of four years of study beyond grade 12.

Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a B grade or better.

Submit unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities attended. If the transcripts are not in English, an unofficial copy of the transcript in the applicant’s native language, along with its English translation, is acceptable.
