Overview

The International Dentist Education (29-month D.D.S.) program from The University of Texas at San Antonio begins with an introductory preparation course designed to set students up for success. This hybrid course features interactive online training to update your dental knowledge, followed by customized hands-on training led by specialists and content experts. This hands-on component is specifically tailored to enhance your clinical skills and prepare you for seamless integration into the clinic.

Upon completing this preparatory course, you will join traditional third-year dental students for the remainder of your studies.

The comprehensive training you receive through this program will enable you to earn your DDS degree and qualify to challenge state or regional board examinations, paving the way for you to practice dentistry in the United States.

Learning how to conduct patient care within the Comprehensive Dentistry Pre-doc clinics
Learning up-to-date dental knowledge and techniques
Becoming eligible for dental licensure and dental practice within the United States after taking state and regional board examinations
