School of Electrical Engineering at Aalto University

The School of Electrical Engineering ties electrical engineering, natural sciences and information technology together.
Graduates are multi-skilled individuals who are capable of utilizing nanotechnology, electronics, signal processing and internet technologies in solving grand challenges of mankind, for instance climate change, ageing of population and sustainable development. One of the school's special strengths is linking research with the Finnish and international business sector.

Organization and units:
The School of Electrical Engineering includes eight departments as well as the Metsähovi Radio Observatory and the Micronova Centre for Micro and Nanotechnology, established in cooperation with VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
