History
FPCEUP was created in 1980 and currently nearly 2000 students are attending our graduate programmes, integrated master, masters and doctoral programmes. Our graduates are employed both in the public and private sectors in fields as diverse as education, psychology, justice, health, central and local public administration, sociocultural development.
Education
The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences is the school of the University of Porto that carries out teaching and research in the areas of Psychology and Education Sciences.FPCEUP was created in 1980 and currently nearly 2000 students are attending our graduate programmes, integrated master, masters and doctoral programmes.
Research
Our Faculty is engaged in R&D activities. FPCEUP has two research centres, funded by the national research agency (FCT), and several laboratories and research structures (observatories, resources centres).
Career
Our graduates are employed both in the public and private sectors in fields as diverse as education, psychology, justice, health, central and local public administration, sociocultural development.

Library services
The Library Service is responsible for the management, treatment, dissemination and control of information and documentation, with a view to providing support to teaching and research.
ICT services
The IT service is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, management and maintenance of computer resources and services and of communication networks for the FPCEUP community.
Medical services
The school has a Office for Counselling and Therapy in Psychology, open to the general public.
Campus life
FPCEUP is equipped with: 1 library, 1 library for post-gratuation students, 3 computer rooms, 1 bar, 4 auditoriums, several classrooms, 3 resource centres, 2 funded research centres, several support offices
Student clubs
One student association: AEFPCEUP
