Our primary goal is to train graduate students to make such contributions. To achieve this goal, we attempt to place students in productive academic research environments. The major areas of study within the department are Information Systems/Information Technology (IS/IT) and Operations Management OM).

Features

Students in the Information Systems and Operations Management program from University of Florida come from a variety of backgrounds, with the most common being engineering computer sciences, mathematics, business, and statistics.

Students admitted for the Ph.D. choose to specialize either in information systems/information technology or in operations management.
